With each new patch of Honkai Star Rail, the lore of this massive universe keeps expanding and especially since the big Penacony update, which we got quite recently, there is a lot to explore further on! This time, we check out the Interastral Peace Corporation (IPC) and even some of their members a little closer!
The Interastral Peace Corporation, abbreviated as the IPC, is an intergalactic mega corporation responsible for the economy of the entire cosmos in Honkai Star Rail. We encountered one pretty important member of that faction a while ago on Jarilo IV, being Topaz and her little friend Numby.
With the most recent 2.0 update, the IPC is getting much more attention amongst the player base, which is probably due to another high ranking member of said organization.

Honkai Star Rail Lore: Getting To Know The IPC
To outsiders, the IPC is an enormous consortium advocating free trade. From a business perspective, the IPC is a business that issues money and monopolizes resources. From a startup perspective, the IPC is a selfless support group dedicated to the Aeon of Preservation, being Qlipoth.
Honkai Star Rail: The Beginnings Of The IPC
The Interastral Peace Corporation was initially formed as a backing group to aid Qlipoth in the creation of their Celestial Comet Wall. The two Co founders are Louis Fleming on one side, and Dongfang Qixing on the other. Their efforts involved journeying across various worlds to accumulate resources to present to the Amber Lord. Given that their collection was solely comprised of building supplies, the backing group was limited to trading only construction materials.

Simultaneously, the IPC launched a universal galactic currency known as credits. They set prices for each planet's unique goods, which the inhabitants could then buy directly from the IPC using these credits.This innovation by the IPC created a perpetual source of funding, enabling the organization to amass resources for their Aeon. Despite the organization's evolution from its modest origins, it has consistently maintained its primary mission of aiding Qlipoth.
Honkai Star Rail: The Pier Point
Pier Point is the location of the Interastral Peace Corporation's headquarters. IPC staff both reside and operate there, and the location also features restaurants. It seems to be positioned with a view of the subspace barrier that Qlipoth is constructing. The team committed to assisting the Aeon Qlipoth founded the IPC at Pier Point, growing into a significant enterprise.
Honkai Star Rail: IPC Departments & Ranks
The IPC is organized in a bunch of different departments and their head workers, each of them having their very own tasks and set values:
- Traditional Project Department – Arita (P48+)
- Business Consolidation Department – Madam Scarred Eye (P48)
- Building Material Logistics Department – Taravan Keane (P48)
- Marketing Development Department – Oswaldo Schneider (P47)
- Strategic Investment Department – Diamond (P47)
- Technology Department – Yabuli (unknown)
- Talent Motivation Department – Mtooyin Raj Zazzad (unknown) & Yan Shiluo (unknown)
Next to that, each member in each department has a rank, categorizing all of them in a big hierarchy. The higher your rank is in the IPC, the more important tasks you will get from the higher ups. Here are some examples:
- P13 – Staff members are office workers who handle “odd jobs.”
- P35 – Staff members gain access to the cloud-top mansion at Pier Point.
- P47 – designates candidates for the board member position and are typically the department's head leader.
- P50 – is the highest rank reserved for department heads who are board members of the corporation.

Honkai Star Rail: IPC Members
One IPC Member, which many of us have fallen in love with, is Topaz with her little friend Numby!
Topaz (P44) is a playable character in Honkai Star Rail, and our first real engagement with the IPC. She is a Senior Manager of the Strategic Investment Department in the Interastral Peace Corporation, one of the Ten Stonehearts, and leader of the Special Debts Picket Team.
Did you know, that Topaz' real name is actually Jelena?!
The Ten Stonehearts consists of top IPC executives from the Strategic Investment Department, with each leader overseeing a specific team and adopting a pseudonym related to their respective stone. Diamond, who leads this group, also serves as the chief of the Strategic Investment Department. Another member of this very special groups is next to the founder Diamond, also Aventurine!
Topaz's companion, the Warp Trotter known as Numby, possesses a keen ability to detect the location of “riches.” Additionally, it is skilled in tasks related to security, debt recovery, and the field of actuarial sciences.
