EA FC 24: How To Take Free Kicks!
Free kicks are just another chance for many of you that rarely lead to goals. However, certain situations are a gift, inviting you to score. To make sure you can accept these invitations in the future, try these tips:
- Choose a suitable shooter! It sounds trivial, and it is. But make sure to have someone in your team who has really solid shooting and free kick stats to make the whole scenario easier for you.
- Playstyle+ Dead Ball! Not mandatory, but it also simplifies your free kick.
- Keep the right stick untouched! Keep it simple is the motto.
- Exception: Stuck too often in the wall? Slightly push the right stick downward for a higher-angled shot. But then use a little less power.
- A right-footed player automatically shoots a little to the left, and a left-footed player shoots a little to the right.
- Aim with the line roughly at the inside standing wall player or between them and the second. Vary depending on your player's curve stat.
- If the wall moves, you have to gauge yourself how much curve you need to consider.
- If the goalkeeper moves, aim the ball into the goalkeeper's corner using the same procedure.
- Load exactly 3 bars as a minimum and a maximum of 3.7 bars! Never completely.
- Adjust the mentioned power to the distance: Closer to the goal = Closer to 3 bars. Further away from the goal = Closer to 3.7 bars.
- Additional: If you master the Time Finish, apply it to free kicks, and you'll hit almost 100%! Not mandatory.
With these tips, free kicks should be a gift for you in the future. Don't just let such opportunities slip away. Just stay calm, don't try to incorporate too many special features! You don't need quick free kicks or the right stick at all. Just play without much frills!
