The childhood classic Toy Story 2 is going to be re-released on PS5 soon. Here's the release date for Toy Story 2, and everything we know so far.
The 1999 classic platformer Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear To The Rescue is going to be making its way to next-gen very soon. A lot of older folks will remember playing this game way back in the day, when Toy Story 2 was still new. A simpler, better time. But, at least now a new generation of young gamers can try out Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear To The Rescue, and more importantly, old gamers can return for the nostalgia.
This is all part of the PlayStation Plus Premium scheme, and Toy Story isn't the only great game that top-level subscribers will get access to. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. First thing's first, when is Toy Story available to play?
When Will Toy Story 2 Be Released?
Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear To The Rescue will be available for PS5 when the PlayStation Plus Premium scheme is rolled out in your region, in late May 2022. At that point, if you are a Premium Plus subscriber then the game should become immediately available to you in the PlayStation Store.

So if you want to find it, then simply search for "Toy Story" when you have PlayStation Plus Premium membership. And as we mentioned before, other huge games are available through PlayStation Plus Premium, so maybe get a few other downloads on the go while you're at it.
How Much Will Toy Story 2 Cost?
Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear To The Rescue will be free for PlayStation Plus Premium members, but of course, they will be paying $18 a month for their subscription. Would you pay that kind of price for classic games? It seems a bit too steep given how little PlayStation offer compared to Xbox Game Pass, but among older PlayStation fanswe're sure it'll find a following.
