In case you were living in a cave for like the last decade, you should know that The Last of Us was/is one of the best video games ever made. Very few games have managed to create such a dense atmosphere and make us grow so fond of the characters. And until now, this was unfortunately an experience for which you had to own a PlayStation. Until now, the remake of The Last of Us Part One will finally be released on the PC.

The Last Of Us PC Debut "Soon" After PS5 Launch

While neither developer Naughty Dog nor Sony have talked much about a PC port for the remake of The Last of Us, we now got the confirmation. Naughty Dog employee and Senior Environment Texture Artist Jonathan Benaino posted on Twitter that the "PC version should come out a bit later, but very soon after the PS5 relese!":

Since The Last of Us Part 1 is confirmed to be released on September 2, 2022 for the PlayStation 5, PC players should hopefully have access to the game as soon as the end of September.

Although some people aren't really optimistic about it. They're saying this could still be a release in 2023 since the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection was also meant to release on PC shortly after PS5. For all of you who don't know what that means: The Legacy of Thieves Collection was released for PS5 on January 28, 2022 and there is still no sign of the PC version...

Well, since the tweet is no official announcement, even though it comes from a Naughty Dog employee, there is not much we can do but wait. We'll of course keep you updated as soon as there is more info on it.
