Apparently, we could get the next State of Play from Sony as early as next week. According to several leaks and posts on Twitter, Sony is expected to release new info on Gran Turismo 7, God of War Ragnarok, and the new "professional" controllers for the PS5 soon. The info comes from Kazunori Yamauchi and Jason Schreier.

As reported by Jason Schreier for Bloomberg, Sony are expected to give us a November release date for GoW Ragnarok in the June State of Play. Here's exactly what Schreier claimed:

The highly anticipated PlayStation game God of War Ragnarok is planned for release this November, according to three people familiar with the game’s development, despite reports this week that it had slipped to 2023.Publisher Sony Group Corp. is expected to announce the release date later this month, two of the people said.

So, a November release date is still happening, apparently. Surely we're getting some official footage of the game soon?

Kazunori Yamauchi, the producer of Gran Turismo 7 in turn posted the following on Twitter:

According to his tweet from June 19, 2022, new info about Gran Turismo will be announced "next week". Since June doesn't have many days left and next week is explicitly mentioned, it is very likely that we can expect another State of Play from Sony very soon.

What Will Be Shown in Sony's June State of Play?

As per the info above, Sony will be giving us updates on God of War Ragnarok and Gran Turismo 7. However, the new Professional Controller for the PS5 will also be announced. This controller will feature removable stick units and grips, as well as trigger stops.

We expect Sony to officially announce a State of Play in the next few days and will of course update this article for you.
