When Starfield was delayed to 2023, Microsoft and Bethesda gave a new release window for the "first half of 2023". That was in May 2022, a literal age ago, so fans have been wondering if that release window still applies. Good news: it does! Bethesda has officially reconfirmed the release window again.

Starfield Still Set For First Half of 2023

Bethesda has launched the official Starfield support page. There, they answer many inquires regarding the game, including the question of Starfield's release date. The answer confirms the previously stated release window:

Starfield arrives exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC in the first half of 2023.

It's good to hear that Bethesda plans to release their big new RPG so soon. Let's hope it actually happens! The game has been delayed before, though, so it could happen again.

Ideally, it won't take too much longer until we finally can play Starfield on Xbox Series and PC and see for ourselves if the hype will have been justified. The game definitely looks huge, let's hope that it will also be fun and well optimized, when it finally comes out... hopefully in the next few months.
