Apex Legends Season 20 starts on Tuesday, February 13. The highlights are as follows:
- Every Legend will have "Ability Upgrades" that they unlock throughout the course of a game. You choose between two options with each Ability Upgrade, and these abilities are separate from your Legend's normal kit.
- Ranked is going back to how it was before Season 13.
- Every two weeks one of the following Legends will go free-to-play for the remainder of the Season: Fuse, Seer, Rampart, Mad Maggie, Loba, and Valkyrie. Complete the "Breakout Challenges" for each Legend and you will get to keep them.
- There is a new Mixtape map coming called Thunderdome, for Gun Run, Team Deathmatch and Control.
