Pokemon Arceus: This Could Be the First DLC

Arceus turned out much better than some anticipated, and now we're itching for more: What can we expect in terms of DLC, now that Arceus is fully released?

I know a lot of you are still going through their first Pokemon Arceus play through, and still gushing over how good the game turned out to be, but others have long finished the game, and are already itching for more. Maybe some of you are still trying to find all Pokemon Legends Arceus Bothersome Bidoof locations, I know I am. Luckily for all of us, Arceus' open-world leaves a lot of room for DLC, and we have some ideas as to what additional content might be added to the game. Needless to say, this might contain spoilers, so read at your own risk.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus DLC

You might have noticed, that there are a lot of locations from Diamond and Pearl, that we never actually get to visit in this old version of Hisui. Two areas that are fairly obviously missing are Eterna Forest and Canalave City – both rather small areas, that, nonetheless, are missing from the Hisui region in Arceus and give us DLC potential. Another area that's a bit more substantial, is Iron Island. Including this island would open Arceus up to the possibility of including the Regi trio in an update.

Still, all of the areas above are small fry. If we want to start thinking bigger, we have to take it underground: Diamond and Pearl have a rather elaborate cave system, which is even more fleshed out in the remakes. There is no reason to not include a Hisuian version of said cave system in Arceus sometime down the road.

Lastly, the Distortion World could be added to Arceus. It's already hinted at with the appearance of Giratina, and while adding the Distortion World is a bit of a stretch, it would add a whole new dimension to the world of Arceus.

Maybe we're rushing this one a bit, but playing through Arceus, you can't help but notice these obvious omissions, and it's a real possibility that Game Freak left out some areas on purpose, just to include them later.
