Naughty Dog and Sony are always up to something. But the relationship is getting closer than ever before; they're starting a whole new studio together! This news was revealed thanks to a public job listing. Let's get into the details!

Naughty Dog & Sony Established New Studio

A new job listing on Sony's official website has revealed they're plans to set up a new development team in collaboration with Naughty Dog. The job listing mentions a new, unannounced game, and they sound weirdly confident in the project.

Here's exactly what the job ad describes about the game this new team will be working on:

Sony PlayStation is building a new internal game development team in partnership with PSS Visual Arts, an award-winning, full-production group, that specializes in Animation, Motion Capture, Cinematics, Art, and Scanning. This is the same world-class team known for its contributions to the Last of Us franchise! This high visibility project is being developed in collaboration with Naughty Dog. Though currently unannounced, we have a clear vision and plan to release. Using our existing expertise and premier talent, we will guarantee a high visual quality bar for the game and a compelling experience for our players.

Yeah...we don't know much, sadly. But it's Naughty Dog we're talking about, and with the backing of Sony, so we're quietly confident.

And there you have it folks, everything we know about this new studio. What do you think about Naughty Dog diversifying, do you trust them to make new types of games? Personally, we're going to wait and see how well they produce the new the free-to-play multiplayer experience set in the TLoU universe (Factions 2).

If you're a fan of the Last of Us then we've got even more good news for you:
