Gungrave gore news game release date

Do you know the Gungrave franchise? No? Me neither, but I'll be damned if Gungrave G.O.R.E. didn't just put it on my radar with emphasis. If you like over-the-top action and Devil May Cry or Bayonetta tickle you at all, then... congratulations, you just found your new favorite game.

We don't have much on the Gungrave G.O.R.E. just yet, except for a trailer that's coming in hot straight from the Tokyo Game Show. If the aforementioned games mean anything to you, then you know what to expect: The main character just ploughing through enemies like nobody's business. The game is exactly what its name suggest: Gory and full of guns, and... I love it. But enough with the hype talk, just watch the trailer below:

To get you even more excited, former Platinum Games and Tango Gameworks designer Ikumi Nakamura is working on this game. If that name doesn't mean anything to you, then it's about to: The woman was the creative director for Ghostwire: Tokyo, as well as the lead artist for the Evil Within series, Okami and, most importantly, Bayonetta. Yup. Gungrave G.O.R.E. is in good hands.

Gungrave G.O.R.E Release Date & Platforms

If reading and watching all this got you excited, then you're not alone – as a DMC fan, I'm gagging for this game. Yeah. There's that visual. Now, more importantly is what platforms this game is releasing for and when you can get your hands on it. Gungrave G.O.R.E. is coming to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and the PC. Sadly, the game will not be released for the Nintendo Switch, but Switch players will get Bayonetta 3, so that should be consolation enough. As for the release date – Gungrave G.O.R.E. is slated to be released in 2022.
