A ton of Diablo 4 players are stuck doing the "Keeping The Old Traditions" quest. Don't worry, we got you, here's a quick walkthrough. Spoiler alert: It's all about the emotes.
Diablo 4 features many quests, and most of them are pretty obvious – just follow the quest marker. However, the side-quest "Keeping The Old Traditions" has been giving some players a bit of a headache.
You can find a short walkthrough below to help you complete the Diablo 4 quest "Keeping The Old Traditions". It's super quick once you know what to do.
Keeping The Old Traditions Walkthrough
To complete the Keeping The Old Traditions quest, just follow these simple steps:
- Go to the area marked on the map below with a red circle. It's in the Dry Steppes, and the closest waypoints are Jirandai, Qara Yisu, Hidden Overlook:

- Equip the "Yes" emote to your emote wheel
- If you're on controller, you equip the "Yes" emote by doing the following:
- Hold Up on the D-Pad to bring up the emote wheel
- Highlight one of the segments on your emote wheel
- Press Triangle/Y to "Customize" the slot
- Highlight the "Yes" emote from the list and then press Cross/A
- If you're on PC you need to press E to bring up the emote wheel, and from there you can just use your mouse
- If you're on controller, you equip the "Yes" emote by doing the following:
- Use the "Yes" emote near the statue
- A chest will appear, interact with the chest
- Congratulations, you've completed the "Keeping The Old Traditions" quest in Diablo 4
