Counter-Strike 2: New Grenade Feature Discovered
News and rumors about the features and content of the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 are dropping on a daily basis. And with the newest patch notes from Valve, there might be a new feature regarding the grenades. In the patch notes, you can find this short sentence under the "Animation" section:
Grenades can now be inspected
Now, this obviously sparks some rumors about the possibility of grenade skins in Counter-Strike 2. Since these inspect-animations were only available for weapons in CS:GO to take a look at weapon-skins in game. Grenade skins would be something never seen before in the Counter-Strike franchise, but it would fit into the actual development of CS2.
Just a few weeks ago, we got the same with the Zeus, aka the Taser, that is now available for the Steam market. So that community members would be able to design skins for the gadget. It seems like that this is the planned way for Valve to make money out of weapons and gadgets, that weren't monetized in CS:GO before.
So it will be interesting to see, if this is the case, and we're getting skins for nearly everything in CS2 now. I personally can't wait to get my hands on a Gucci themed Molotov-Cocktail and rush B with it.
