CD Projekt Red Working on Arcade Games

CD Projekt Red had a lot to announced during their Cyberpunk: Edgerunners broadcast, one of those was the making of a bunch of arcade games.

We got more information on what CD Projekt Red has been up to. Yes, they're hard at work and trying to make the new DLC a smash hit upon release, as well as working alongside Trigger Studio to make one of the most brutal anime of 2022 – though can it beat Chainsaw Man – but that's not all, they're also working on arcade and mobile games.

During the Cyberpunk Edgerunners livestream, CD Projekt Red also announced their mobile game endeavours, but worry not, these are small games with no microtransactions, something you don't even hear about anymore these days when it comes to mobile gaming.

During the Cyberpunk 2077 stream, a pixel art game by the name of 'Roach Race' was announced. This is going to be made available on iOS and Android and if you've got a copy of Cyberpunk, then you'll even be able to play the game there!

Honestly, this game just looks like a colourful knock-off from the Google dinosaur game whenever the internet fails me – which living in Germany happens quite often – but let's be real, this is a fun little mobile game that we can play on the train and have our brain rot. CD Projekt Red did only give us a small bit of the game so we have to assume what we can, right?

CD Projekt Red also announced that there will be more games like this in the future, so be prepared for some more simple arcade games in Cyberpunk 2077. What kind of arcade games are the developers going to come up with next?

Let us know what small Easter eggs you'd like to see? Me, personally, I would love a rhythm game with the soundtrack of the Witcher. The music is so good and is deserving of some epic rhythm game action.
