Many Overwatch 2 players have reported that their coin balance is showing a negative value after purchasing an item from the store.
Overwatch 2 is still nowhere close to being a finished game. Even after almost one month after release, bugs are still occurring on a daily basis. Now, players have reported an especially weird one. Apparently, it is now possible to get into debt in Overwatch 2, since some fans reported that after a purchase in the item shop, their Overwatch coin balance suddenly showed a negative value. I mean, we all assumed that we'd fall into the debt trap due to high skin prices, but certainly not like this!

This isn't a joke! Many players have reported a negative OW coin balance after buying something in the store. Now they can't buy anything due to the "debt". The skin prices may be high, but not high enough to drive us into debt... right? There are two possibilities here, either this is a bug, or Blizzard is now introducing the Overwatch 2 credit card.

Blizzard has introduced negative account balances before in Diablo Immortals. When players refunded currency, they put them in the negative until they paid it off. But that doesn't seem to be the case here, because none of the players this has happened to have refunded anything.
This bug is really strange, and Blizzard has not responded to it yet. Up to this point, there doesn't seem to be a solution to the problem. But if you are experiencing this, we advise you not to buy any Overwatch coins to get out of the negative balance. You can try restarting your game or maybe even reinstalling it, but you'll probably have to wait for Blizzard to resolve the issue.
