Fortnite fans have been speculating about who is behind the voice of The Foundation, a character that appeared in the Season 6 cinematic and in-game event. Could it be Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson behind it? Fortnite Season 6 was released just two weeks ago. It started with an awesome trailer directed by the Russo Brothers, the makers of Avengers. Now some fans are speculating that this was just the beginning and one of the main characters was voiced by a real Hollywood star! Could Fortnite's Foundation and the movie star The Rock be the same person? Let's look at the facts.
Is The Rock the voice of The Foundation?
Let's look at the facts. On March 16, the day before the start of Season 6, The Rock posted a cryptic Instagram video in which he talks about the significance of March 16 "in a certain culture," and how, "there's a connection between this world and my world." The video ends with the words, "This is all done to strengthen and evolve and grow the power and the force known as.... the foundation," before raising his eyebrow meaningfully.
Also in his video description are the words "the foundation".
For many Fortnite fans, this represents pretty clear evidence. Others have pointed out that the armor from the foundation bears a resemblance to Johnson's tattoos. Yet again others find that "rock" and "foundation" have similar meanings. On Reddit, players pointed out that Epic Creative Officer Donald Mustard liked The Rock's Instagram video, as further proof of the theory.
More speculation for the voice of The Foundation
Johnson is not the only possible voice in the running, however. Players have also speculated that The Foundation will be voiced by Keifer Sutherland or even Donald Mustard himself, and have cited various evidence for and against their preferred candidate.

None of these theories are really confirmed. Fortnite has always been great at opening up a barrel of wild theories especially, with the many crossovers that appeared in the game. Fans don't seem to want to stop speculating which star, character, or other game will soon appear in Fortnite.
Actually, it doesn't really matter who voiced The Foundation, as long as the story continues and Epic doesn't make us wait forever (if The Rock really is the foundation, we'd love that, though).
