The Black Widow outfit is an epic skin from the Marvel franchise and part of the Avengers set. Black Widow was first added to Fortnite on April 26, 2021, in Chapter 1, Season 8 with Patch 8.50.But who actually is Black Widow and what's her story?
Who Is Black Widow?
Black Widow is the name of several fictional characters from the Marvel Universe. However, Natasha Romanoff is the first character to be codenamed Black Widow in the modern Marvel Comics.
She was one of the most talented spies and assassins in the world and a founding member of the Avengers. As a child, she was indoctrinated by General Dreykov in the Red Room and lived briefly as the surrogate daughter of Alexei Shostakov and Melina Vostokoff while they were undercover in America. After the destruction of the North Institute, she underwent extensive psychological conditioning before leaving the Red Room as a widow. She worked as an agent for the KGB and was targeted by S.H.I.E.L.D. before Clint Barton gave her the chance to defeat the organization by assassinating Dreykov.
Romanoff later leads the Avengers alongside Captain America.
