Fortnite has two new mythical Marvel weapons in the form of symbiotes. Now, if you're wondering what symbiotes are: symbiotes (called Klyntar on their home planet) are alien life forms that are able to bond with individuals, regardless of species, to form a new shared entity. They are parasites by nature, though they do not always harm their hosts, often even enhancing the host's natural attributes while giving them powers such as superhuman strength, healing, and the ability to form tendrils or tentacles as weapons.

What are Symbiotes in Fortnite?
Symbiotes in Fortnite are descended from Marvel's most famous symbiotic characters, Venom and Carnage. They each form a portable, mythical weapon that also gives you special abilities. Once you find one of the two weapons, it will take up a place in your inventory and will let you glide through the air, jump higher than normal and run faster. When you activate the weapon, you'll deploy a tendril that will attack and pull your opponent, dealing 60 damage. In addition, the tendril can penetrate multiple structures and pull your opponent out of even the most angled buildings. However, this attack has a seven-second cooldown, preventing it from being used multiple times.
How to Find the Symbiotes in Fortnite
