FNCS 2021 goes into the next round with Season 8! What are the prize pool and format of the FNCS, and how do you register? We have all the details for you!

The Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) is going to be played out in trios again. More details about FNCS Chapter 2, Season 8 have been revealed. We will tell you everything about the possible prizes, the format, the points distribution and more.

FNCS Chapter 2, Season 8 Registration

You must be 13 years or older to win prizes and qualify for Round 2.
You must have two-factor authentication enabled.
You must agree to and abide by the Fortnite End User License Agreement ("Fortnite EULA").
Your player name must not contradict the Code of Conduct.
Your Epic account level must be at least thirty (30).
Your Fortnite account must be at least in Champion League (Division I, II, or III) of the Arena Mode in your respective server region.

Once you and your teammates have met all the requirements, you can register for the FNCS Qualifiers in your region under the Fortnite Competition tab and join the player search for the start of the tournament.

FNCS Chapter 2, Season 8 Schedule

The FNCS will start with the first qualifying round in mid-October and end with the finals at the end of October. The official FNCS Season 8 rules determine how many teams will advance to the next qualifying round.

Qualifiers

October 14: Qualifier 1 - Round 1 (Middle East)
October 15: Qualifier 1 - Round 1 (All Regions except the Middle East)
October 15: Qualifier 1 - Round 2 and Round 3 (Middle East)
October 16: Qualifier 1 - Round 4 (Middle East)
October 16: Qualifier 1 - Round 2 and Round 3 (All Regions except the Middle East)
October 17: Qualifier 1 - Round 4 (All Regions except the Middle East)
October 21: Qualifier 2 - Round 1 (Middle East)
October 22: Qualifier 2 - Round 1 (All Regions except the Middle East)
October 22: Qualifier 2 - Round 2 and Round 3 (Middle East)
October 23: Qualifier 2 - Round 4 (Middle East)
October 23: Qualifier 2 - Round 2 and Round 3 (All Regions except the Middle East)
October 24: Qualifier 2 - Round 4 (All Regions except the Middle East)

Semi-Finals

October 27: Semi-Finals (Day 1) - Heat A and Heat B (ME)
October 28: Semi-Finals (Day 2) - Heat A and Heat B (ME)

October 29: Semi-Finals (Day 2) - Heat A and Heat B (All Regions except the Middle East)

FNCS Chapter 2, Season 8 Event Format and Scoring

The scoring system differs across the different rounds. For qualifier rounds 1, 2 and 3 it looks as follows:

Each Elimination: 1 Point
Victory Royale: 25 Points
2nd: 20 Points
3rd: 16 Points
4th: 14 Points5th: 13 Points
6th: 12 Points
7th: 11 Points
8th: 10 Points
9th: 9 Points
10th: 8 Points
11th: 7 Points
12th: 6 Points
13th: 5 Points
14th 4 Points
15th: 3 Points
16th: 2 Points
17th: 1 Point

For Qualification Round 4, the Semifinals and the Finals, the scoring system will work like this:
