Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3 is drawing to a close and there's a lot to look forward to in Chapter 3, Season 4 judging by recent leaks. Before a new season comes out, however, there is always speculation as to whether the current season will end with an incredible live event with explosions and lots of fireworks.
As time has gone by, live events have become an important part of Fortnite, bringing everyone together at the same time for a massive in-game spectacle. Of course, Epic also benefits from the start-up and publicity among players. So the question is: will there be a live event at the end of Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3?
Will there be a Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3 Live Event?
Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation of a live end-of-season event, nor are there any notable leaks to the contrary. There are some rumors circulating on the internet that there could be an in-game concert by Eminem or Lady Gaga towards the end of the current season, but that doesn't really have anything to do with a final season event.
However, we do not want to completely rule out a live event at the end of the season either. Fortnite leaker HYPEX, has a pretty compelling explanation that there could be a live event:
The LAST update of this S3 (21.51) is set to arrive NEXT WEEK It *MIGHT* have an event because almost ALL of the .01 end of seasons updates didn't happen for no reason and had an event with them, like: The Device, The Unvaulting, The End (Ch1), The Final Showdown & Butterfly.

The last update for Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3 is update v21.51, which came out a few days ago. According to HYPEX, almost all previous .01 Fortnite updates have included an event. These include The Device, The Unvaulting, and The Final Showdown to name a few. While not a leak, HYPEX's hypothesis makes sense, especially considering how uneventful Chapter 3, Season 3 has been so far.
A recent leak suggests that the Paradigm will be an integral part of Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 4, meaning the war between the IO and the Seven will continue after the events of Chapter 3, Season 2.
Also, Epic shared several strange teasers suggesting that a chrome liquid will engulf everything in the next season.

It would be odd to dive into a season where everything is suddenly bathed in chrome without knowing why. So a live event where that happens would make sense right? Whatever happens, we won't have to wait too long to know if there will be a final live event at the end of the season. If new details come to light, we will of course inform you about it.
