A telescope made of stone has appeared on Fortnite Island, shooting a strange astral map into the sky. But what does this strange map mean? We clarify.
Fortnite Season 3 has reached its final stage before coming to an end on August 25 to celebrate the final season of Chapter 4 with Season 4. Of course, this also means that the map is slowly starting to change and it seems that it's even heading towards a live event.
Many have probably already noticed the small POI "The Apparatus", in the east of Rumble Ruins. There, you can see a strange stone device that now has a large, telescope-like structure at its tip that sends a pink beam into the sky.

The Apparatus In Fortnite Likely Teases Next Big Live Event
The mysterious contraption "The Apparatus" has been visited by many players during the Season to get a closer look. However, there has been no way to interact with it so far, even though it is already included in the Season 4 storyline.
Those who had completed the snapshot missions had to collect prisms made of kinetic ore on the Fortnite map and bring them to Doctor Slone. She informed you that she needed the prisms to activate the star projector. The machine is now in its second phase and shoots an astral map into the sky.
Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey claims that there will be a total of 6 different stages in which a moon passes through the astral map. The final stage will subsequently be an eclipse in the sky.

In addition, some Fortnite Creators received an image from Epic Games, which has a blood moon on its black background. In addition, the signature:

Who Kado Thorne is and what Epic Games wants to tell us with it is not known. However, we can assume that these are hints for an upcoming live event and subsequent preparation for the Chapter 4 story finale.
Because Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 will be the last season of the chapter before Chapter 5 will be released at the end of 2023 with a completely new map in the Fortnite universe.
