Chapter 2, Season 4 is starting soon. When it does, some Marvel heroes will join the forces to help save the island in Battle Royale. Season 14 aka Chapter 2, Season 4 - is titled Nexus War and is a comic-style event where the main characters unite to fight against the planet-destroying villain Galactus.
Since last week we already knew that the new Fortnite season will come with a Marvel theme as Epic released an in-game comic that described the upcoming story in detail. The comics is about Thor coming to Fortnite Island. He wants to warn the Fortnite inhabitants of an evil power, but is attacked by them and then loses memories. Later he calls on other Marvel heroes, including Iron Man, Wolverine, and Captain America to help him. The comic ended with the sentence "To be continued in season four". Epic describes the season as "the war to save reality.

Nexus War Trailer
Even though the servers are still down, we could already watch the trailer for Nexus War.
It shows how the heroes are torn from their natural environment and suddenly appear on Fortnite Island. For the first time, the Fortnite inhabitants seem to regard them as enemies and the two parties prepare for a fight. But Thor intervenes and reminds everyone who the real enemy is, who is also on the way to Fortnite. This someone is none other than Galactus, the destroyer of worlds.
Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 Battle Pass
As in every season of Fortnite we will get a Battle Pass in the current one. You can buy it again for 950 V-Bucks, which equals $10/€10.
Those who purchase the Battle Pass in Fortnite can unlock characters such as Iron Man, Storm, Mystique, Doctor Doom, Groot and She-Hulk, as well as a Thor with amnesia. Epic also said that a certain member of the X-Men will be available later in the season:
"Wolverine roams the island! Unlock him, his equipment and his classic style by completing his challenges. But be warned: He's not exactly known for being quiet and secretive."
Of course, there will also be a wide selection of emotes, pickaxes, gliders, and (of course) V-Bucks!
New Points of Interest
At first sight, the Fortnite Map does not seem to be changed. But Epic announces that this will not remain so for long. Not only the heroes and villains of Marvel have landed on the island, but also many famous places from their universe. Soon there will be locations like Doom's Domain and the Sentinel Cemetery. And this place looks very promising:
News Weapons and Items
Where would the heroes and super villains be without their weapons, right? In the new season, we will be able to obtain superpowers like Doctor Doom's arcane gloves, Groot's thorn shield, Silver Surfer's Board. Many more items will be released later in the season. The new weapon Stark Industries Energy Rifle and supply drones, which we already know from Season 9, will be added to the game.
Of course, there is much more going on in the world of Fortnite right now than just a new season. Epic is currently in the middle of a legal battle with Apple and Google over App Store fees.
As a result, Fortnite's new Marvel Season will be the first that is not available on all platforms. Those who play the game on Apple devices - including iPhone, iPad, and Mac - will not have access to the latest update. We can only hope that Epic and Apple will come to an agreement soon. After all, this is not only about a lot of money, but also about millions of disappointed fans who would like to play the new season. Meanwhile, they will have to be satisfied with just watching streams or videos.
