FIFA 22 POTM EA Sports OP
Who are you going to choose? | © EA Sports

EA begins with the biggest and the best - the Premier League. So naturally, the player choice is very strong. But for the same reason, it's also dreadfully expensive. Still, it would be quite something to have CR7 in the game right away, wouldn't it?

Premier League Player of the Month: Ronaldo, Salah & Co.

Who are the nominees? Let's take a look:

  • João Cancelo (86 OVR)
  • Cristiano Ronaldo (91 OVR)
  • Antonio Rüdiger (83 OVR)
  • Allan Saint-Maximin (79 OVR)
  • Mohamed Salah (89 OVR)
  • Ismaïla Sarr (78 OVR)

You can vote with this link. With Joao Cancelo, we have a solid full-back. He shouldn't expect too much of a change though, unfortunately. The other nominees are just stronger. Cristiano Ronaldo has the best chances, of course, but Salah and Saint-Maximin shouldn't be underestimated either. Saint-Maximin is extremely popular in the FIFA community. The Frenchman is not only nice as a super-sub but also fits into any starter team.

Also, not to be ignored, Salah has the loyal support of Liverpool behind him. And a 90s card... why not? Sarr is also decent thanks to that pace, but doesn't really stand a chance against the superstars. In all honesty, it will almost certainly be Ronaldo. That would be very expensive, of course, but you don't get a '92 Ronaldo for cheap. Now, we're getting excited about the first Bundesliga nominees. Nkunku? Lewandowski? Sané? Wirtz? Who do we get? After that, we'll get to vote for LaLiga, Ligue 1, and Serie A. Ultimate Team is finally getting started!
