Star Wars fans on Fortnite rejoice! If you are in the game on December 14 at 2:00 p.m. EST, 11:00 a.m. PST you will have a chance for an exclusive preview at the upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Here’s what to expect.
The video, which will be featuring premiere footage from the latest installment in the Star Wars saga will land in the Risky Reels section of the map around that time.
Apart from providing a quick glimpse at a galaxy far away, the clip will also promote a yet another collaboration between Fortnite and the upcoming movie. Just less than a month ago, the game added an Imperial Stormtrooper skin to celebrate the launch of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Why Risky Reels? Risky Reels is the perfect location for the screening. The popular landing spot for Fortnite players, which is located in the far northeast of the game’s Battle Royale's map, is a fully-fledged drive-through cinema.
"Remember to drop in early at 1:30 p.m. ET when the doors open," Epic Games warned in a blog post back on Saturday post, so don’t forget to come early for the screening.
If you need a reminder about this as well, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits real-life cinemas worldwide on December 20, with preview showings on December 19.
