Ryan Reynolds' summer blockbuster 'Free Guy' has opened in cinemas to much acclaim. The film is packed with cameos from some of the biggest names in pop culture, including Chris Evans, Pokimane, and Ninja. In fact, there were so many celebrity appearances, you probably missed some - here's a full list, see how well you did!

'Free Guy' is a great concept, and it's something gamers have imagined for generations. What would it be like to live as an NPC? To be 'villager 3'; a side-character in someone else's story. Well, that's exactly what 'Free Guy' imagines, with the simple protagonist 'Guy' coming to realize that this is his existence. It's well worth a cinema trip, but when you're there, you'll need to keep your eyes peeled for all the cameos they snuck into the film. If you've already seen it, see how many you can remember - some of these might be a surprise to you...

The Celebrity Cameos In 'Free Guy'

Chris Evans

Chris Evans, for those who don't know (seriously stop living under a rock), is Captain America (Editor: You're talking about yourself here, Jon?). Well, he's been in a ton of films, but he's most famously known for being Captain America (Editor: Everyone but you knows that, dear). In Free Guy, Chris Evans makes a great appearance alongside his famous shield and another MCU comeback in the form of a fist... just... a fist (no, there is no fisting in this movie).

Pokimane

Pokimane is one of the wealthiest streamers in the world. She has fans donating literally thousands of dollars to her channel every day. And in Free Guy, she has a small role alongside other famous streamers that makes fans go wild... despite the cringy acting. Sorry, Poki.

Jacksepticeye

Jacksepticeye is an Irish YouTuber, well known for his vlogs and Let's Play videos. He was clearly one of the most excited to be working alongside Ryan Reynolds in the film, and has since released a half-hour video on the compliments Reynolds gave him...

Ninja

Ninja won't have been as recognizable to older audiences of the film, but to the younger generation, he's one of the most famous stars in the world. Ninja is a huge Twitch streamer and if you need your memory jogging, he's the one with the spikey hair who headlined that atrociously cringe YouTube Rewind in 2018.

Here for a casual entertainment catch-up? Enjoy your stay, and why not take a browse:

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson

Yep, that's right. And I think of everyone on the list, I don't need to explain who Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is. He seems to be in literally every blockbuster these days, and Free Guy is no exception. In the film, he plays Dude, the jacked-up version of Reynolds' character Guy... or well... his body did.

Hugh Jackman

Even Hugh Jackman, otherwise known as Wolverine, made it into the film. But this one was probably the hardest to spot. When Molotov Girl is asking a masked fellow gamer for help, the gamer under the mask is none other than Jackman himself. Sneaky, sneaky.

Tina Fey

Tina Fey has been an actor, writer, and director on more projects that we can possibly list here, but you might best recognize her from 30 Rock if the name alone didn't jog your memory (Editor: you're probably Gen Z). Fey voices the mother of one of Free City's players, she interrupts the player mid-game - classic mom.

John Krasinski

Yep, even the Office's Jim, John Krasinski, made it on set. He's the silhouetted gamer you see, so this was a very difficult one to catch, but it has been confirmed.

How did you do? Are some of these a surprise to you, or did you recognize them as soon as they came on screen?

Channing Tatum

As his role is bigger compared to others on this list, you may have already known that he'd be in the film. However, seeing him act with Reynolds was an absolute blast and we're glad that he was chosen to also be in the movie.
