EES is EarlyGame's Artist of the Day!
From Namibia to South Africa to Germany, Eric Sell a.k.a. EES is moving up in the world and at a rapid pace. With 9 albums under his belt, he has ambition and is not about to slow down. His music style is a blend of Kwaito, African House, Afro Pop, Afro-Reggae, and has a really funky fresh spin to it. EES was born and bred in Namibia and started to slowly get into music in 2001, creating a unique African vocal singing style. Ever since, he has been making a massive impact on Kwaito music outside of Africa and has received several awards of recognition including the MTV Listeners Choice award, the Channel O Best Kwaito video in Africa, and he won the German X-Factor in 2018 with his Band.
Another Highlight is that EES just released his own energy drink called „WUMA“ (www.wuma-drink.com) & his new spice called “Nam Flava Spice” (www.namflava.com). EES has never lost touch with his roots and in his lyrics, you can clearly hear the Afrikaans/English/German influence. All in all, EES is a very outgoing & positive vibe person who just wants his listeners to enjoy his music and experience what he lives for, ...Yes-Ja! – NAM Flava Music!

What’s your favorite video game?
I would not know where to start!-) Each game has its own special highlights I would say. But I am a big fan of ego perspective video games as it pulls you into the world even more than other games.
What game inspired you to do music?
To be really honest - I didn't not get inspired to do music by video games. as a musician - its like the universe chooses you - you dont have too much choice!-) and its a complete honor to do music for people and spread the rhythms and energy out there

Would you ever like to write music for video games? What would it be like?
Oh, this would be amazing to have a song of mine in a video game. I would love to have my music in Call of Duty or even Fortnite
How important is music for video games / video games for music?
Music (sound) is 50% of the experience - many would not believe but - try switching off your sound for a video game and see how much LESS fun it is to play. Because music is emotions - and these get pumped up playing video games
