Warzone Season 4: Reloaded is here. We got some treats, including the new SMG, the OTs 9. The OTs 9 might be better known to some of you as the Skorpion, as it was in older CoD games. It's not bad, but you need the right attachment setup, and the right loadout to get the most out of the OTs 9. Here's the OTs 9 loadout guide. The OTs 9 Is Warzone's latest SMG. It's got a wonderfully high rate of fire, but, unfortunately, a limiting magazine capacity at 40 rounds maximum. Still, with the widespread nerfs everything else got, the OTs 9 could be well worth the grind. Here's a quick rundown on the attachments you'll want on the gun and the loadout to use it alongside.

What's The Best Attachment Setup For The OTs 9 In Warzone?

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 8.1" Task Force
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Ammunition: VDV 40 Round Fast Mag
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock

The GRU Suppressor, Task Force Barrel, and Tiger Team Spotlight are conventional picks on any submachine gun; the suppressor and barrel are going to help with improving the range, while the spotlight will increase mobility.

Increasing the OTs 9's pitiful 20–round default mag size is essential too, and this time we've gone for the 40–round fast mag. Usually, you'd avoid going for the biggest mag capacity on BOCW guns as this punishes ADS, but in this example, the OTs 9 is just crying for more firepower, so we'll take the hit. The stock is probably the one expendable attachment if you would rather have an optic than the irons. In this case, the KGB skeletal was chosen for its buff to sprint out time.

How Should You Use The OTs 9 In Warzone?

The OTs 9 has some fantastic stats. We've already mentioned the competitive TTK (494ms with stomach shots and 353ms with headshots at close range), but what the weapon lacks are unfortunately so key to Warzone - range and magazine capacity.

With only 40 rounds max, the OTs 9 is inadvisable for squads and should only be used for solos and duos. And even in that environment, with such limited range, we wouldn't suggest it for a sniper support. The OTs 9 is best used in the role of a traditional SMG alongside an AR spec'd for range, or an LMG.

The Meta OTs 9 Loadout

  • Primary Weapon: An AR of your choice suitable for long-range
  • Secondary Weapon: OTs 9 (built as above)
  • Perk 1: E.O.D.
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: Thermite
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor

E.O.D. is the default choice when your build isn't lacking anything, and this generalist loadout isn't, so we'll take that. Overkill is necessary for the OTs 9, of course, while Amped will keep us switching between that and the AR in good time. With the close-range capability that the OTs 9 is providing this build, we can switch between longer-range firefights and aggressive pushes, so both the Heartbeat Sensor and Thermite have been chosen to aid in those CQC plays.

That was our guide on how to put the OTs 9 to best use, good luck on the grind!
