The SVT-40 will be familiar to many, this is quite a fast Marksman rifle and it's great fun to use. Here's the best loadout setup guide for the SVT-40.
Call of Duty: Vanguardhas launched with a ton of classic WWII guns, but for every gun, we have an astonishing amount of attachments to choose from. Seriously, Vanguard offers ten attachments slots per weapon! Where do you even begin? This is madness! Don't worry, we've got all the answers in our Vanguard weapon setup guides, And today: the SVT-40.
The SVT-40 will be very interesting to keep an eye on when it's integrated into Warzone. This setup guide is optimised for Call of Duty: Vanguard and it's multiplayer environment, but when the weapon comes to Warzone we might see a DMR-14 situation...For now though, this is a solid but unremarkable semi-auto.
Check out our tier ranking of every weapon in Vanguard for an idea of how well the SVT-40 places. In the meantime, let's talk setup...
The SVT-40 Attachment Setup
- Muzzle: G28 Compensator
- Barrel: Kovalevskaya 800MM BO3
- Optic: G16 2.5x
- Stock: Removed Stock
- Underbarrel: SMLE Pistol Grip
- Magazine: .303 British 10 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Frangible
- Rear Grip: Granular Grip
- Proficiency: Vital
- Kit: Fully Loaded
For the loadout here we're going to lean into this weapons mobility, where it stands out, at least compared to the rest of the weapons in it's class. But even with the grips and lack of stock we can only make it so quick, so advise you to be patient and take engagements from as long a distance as you can.

The Equipment & Perks On An SVT-40 Loadout
From what we've played so far, the meta loadout will look something like this:
- Secondary Weapon: Machine Pistol
- Lethal: Thermite
- Tactical: Stuns
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Radar
- Perk 3: Demolition
- Field Upgrade: Armor Plates
The above will almost certainly be the multiplayer meta for an SVT-40 loadout unless they make serious balance changes. The Armor Plates in particular are in need of a nerf, but whether one comes... we'll have to wait and see.
