Vanguard Weapon Setup Guides - The NZ41

Call of Duty: Vanguard launched with a ton of classic WWII guns. But for every gun, we have an astonishing amount of attachments to choose from, and we can use ten at once. So, where do you even begin? What attachments do you need? Don't worry, we'll give you all the answers in our Vanguard weapon setup guides. And today: the NZ41.

The NZ41 is one of those catch-all ARs that you just know is going to be popular. It's on the faster side, it has a solid 30rnd mag by default and it looks awesome (to me at least). This weapon is one of the least well-known and it doesn't unlock until level 24 so you can give yourself the edge by being one of the first to jump on it.

Check out our top 10 best weapons in Vanguard for an idea of how well the weapon places. Needless to say, it's high enough that we think this makes a solid choice for any player to start leveling.

The NZ41 Attachment Setup

  • Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Orbweaver 360MM BC
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Ravenwood Padded
  • Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
  • Magazine: 8MM Klauser 30 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Hollow Point
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Proficiency: Brace
  • Kit: Fully Loaded

With this setup, we tame the rather violent recoil of the NZ-41 and make it much more precise. Nevertheless, the weapon is not particularly suitable for long distances, so stick to medium distances if possible. Here we have ranked all the assault rifles in Vanguard for you.

The Equipment & Perks On An NZ41 Loadout

From what we've played so far, the meta loadout will look something like this:

  • Secondary Weapon: Machine Pistol
  • Lethal: Thermite
  • Tactical: Stuns
  • Perk 1: Ghost
  • Perk 2: Radar
  • Perk 3: Double Time
  • Field Upgrade: Armour Plates

The above will almost certainly be the multiplayer meta for an NZ41 loadout unless they make serious balance changes. The Armour Plates in particular are in need of a nerf, but whether one comes... we'll have to wait and see.
