Call of Duty: Vanguard's Night Raid Mastercraft is getting an upgrade in the leadup to the game's launch in November, according to the Call of Duty Blog. What's being upgraded in the Vanguard Night Raid Mastercraft, and when?
All digital pre-orders of Call of Duty: Vanguard come with the Ultra-Rare Night Raid Mastercraft, an SMG that looks absolutely bonkers. As was mentioned in the Call of Duty Blog Post:
This warplane-inspired Weapon Blueprint comes pre-equipped with a 55 Round Drum for increased magazine capacity, 14.9" Rifled Barrel for damage range, Muzzle Brake 7.62 for vertical recoil control, a Spetsnaz Stock for improved shooting and aim walking movement speeds, and a unique Quickdot LED Optic.
The fantastic Mastercraft was a bit hit in the Vanguard Beta last week, and people are quite hyped to pick up the SMG again when the game drops on November 5. There will be a whole lot of clicking heads going on, that's for sure, but now it'll be a bit different: the Night Raid Mastercraft will be upgraded before launch!
Vanguard's Night Raid Mastercraft To Be Upgraded
The Night Raid Mastercraft will have a visual upgrade when the game launches on November 5. In the new updated version of the Mastercraft, we will see "jet engines begin to fire and an air slipstream rush across the weapon's body". What does this mean for the weapon in practice, though? Well, according to Activision:
This means its default stage is no longer visible, nor will the weapon revert to prior evolution states, and the next phase of its ignition will launch in October.
What could this mean for the Night Raid Mastercraft? This does sound pretty slick, and we're certainly looking forward to getting our hands on it, but to be honest? We're probably more excited about what Halloween will be bringing to Warzone and Vanguard, since the Blog post also hinted at a few little things.
Look, here's the deal: Call of Duty: Vanguard is going to drop on November 5, less than a week after Halloween. Of course there will be celebrations, especially in Warzone! The Night Raid Mastercraft is being upgraded, and this upgrade is apparently going to happen at some point in October. Are we hyped? Sure as hell we are, how could we not be? We're getting Halloween and Call of Duty: Vanguard only a few days apart... Seriously, sign us up - our bones are starting to chatter.
