Modern Warfare 3: New Gameplay Shown At Gamescom
Modern Warfare 3 is looking to be a pretty insane game, with old favorite maps coming back, as well as brand-new mission types, players have only ever dreamed of.
Of course, we're going to be getting a major story, but these new 'Open Combat Missions' will give players the freedom they've always wanted to have in a shooter like Modern Warfare. Not everyone wants to have the biggest and loudest guns, right?
Open Combat Missions are player directed. They allow the audience to play the game how they want to play it.
These missions will be a part of the big overarching story that Sledgehammer has created. Modern Warfare 3 is going to be a direct sequel to Modern Warfare 2 and the team of Sledgehammer Games worked alongside Infinity Ward to bring the story to live and answer fans burning questions after the prequel.
In the trailer for the first mission, we get to see smooth gameplay, as well as an interesting theme, giving players a lot of variety, which is going to be great.
Modern Warfare 3 will release on November 10, so you should get ready for these unique new missions if the trailer above piqued your interest.
