Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a disappointment for a lot of players at the moment. The community's expectations just don't match with the gameplay. For that reason, the publishers are bringing us a remake of the popular old map "Estate". It will be called Pelayo's Lighthouse, and is really more of a rework.
When you think about the best maps in MW2, this puppy will probably jumpy to your mind. Estate was absolutely awesome way back in 2009, and worked fantastically well for Headquarters and SnD.
So what a perfect time to bring it back, with player discontent about the gameplay of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at an all-time high (especially given the map pool).
Remake Of Estate Coming In Season 3
Estate from Modern Warfare 2 (2009) is coming back as a multiplayer map in MWII with Season 3, although now it will be called "Pelayo's Lighthouse". You can see a picture of the new map here:
"Pelayo's Lighthouse" might be one of Activision's last hopes, since the numbers of active players has shockingly decreased for the past few months. But it could also lead to another disappointment. Let's hope and pray for the former.
