In update 1.010 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, a new functionality was implemented into the game called: gyro-aiming. This is an exclusive PlayStation feature that lets you make adjustments to your aim by physically tilting your controller to the left or right. But is it worth it? And what are the best gyro-aim settings? We've provided an overview below.
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 are out now, and after the long wait, the community seems generally quite pleased. Both games have been riddled with bugs, but when you actually get into a match the experience is solid (as we said in our review). It helps that they've added so many great new features, including gyro-aiming.

What Is Gyro Aiming?
Gyro-aiming is a feature that lets you physically tilt your PlayStation controller left or right to adjust your aim in-game. So if you aim-down-sight like normal by holding the left trigger, normally you use the right stick to aim the weapon, but with gyro-aiming you can also tilt the PS controller to the left or right to aim that way. This isn't a unique feature to Call of Duty, and it does in fact exist in quite a few games, including Fortnite.
Is Gyro-Aim Worth Using?
Gyro-aiming won't give you a competitive advantage, hence no one in the CDL is using it. But, gyro-aiming is a great accessibility feature for those with poor dexterity and motor skills, because it provides a simple way to make micro-adjustments when aiming. Also, it might appeal to players who don't care about min/maxing and just want to enjoy features like haptic feedback and such, because it is quite a satisfying feature.
