How To Play Absol in Pokémon Unite
Absol Guide: Basics
Absol is as powerful as he is hard to play. If you can master this Pokémon, you will be able to win any fights in Pokémon Unite. Don't know how? That's what our Absol Pokémon Unite Guide will change today.
- Offense: 3.5/5
- Endurance 2/5
- Mobility 4/5
- Scoring 2.5/5
- Support 0.5/5
Absol Guide: Evolution
Absol does not have any evolutions. You will instantly be able to play Absol.
Absol Guide: Unique Abilities
- Basic Attack – Becomes a boosted attack with every third attack, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon and decreasing their Defense when it hits. If this boosted attack hits only a single oppsing Pokémon, it deals increased damage.
- Super Luck – Increased critical-hit rate.
Absol Guide: Moves
Level 1
- Feint | 8s cooldown – Dashes in an arc, dealing true damage to opponents in your path.
- Slash | 6s cooldown – Slashes forward, briefly increasing your critical-hit rate.
How to build: If you want to make use of Absol's power, then make sure to build Feint, as this will allow you to get kills early on with the true damage it deals to opponents.
Level 5
- Night Slash | 5s cooldown – Slashes a wide area. If it hits you can use a second activation, makes a leaping slash forward and briefly increases your critical-hit rate.
- Pursuit | 5s cooldown – Dashes to an area, causing you to lunge to an opponent with your next attack. Attacks from behind reduce this move's cooldown.
How to build: For an easy gank, build Pursuit. If you attacked from behind, you can almost instantly use it again. A great engage tool.
Level 7
- Psycho Cut | 7s cooldown – A powerful forward slash that slows opponent Pokémon and increases your basic attack damage for three attacks.
- Sucker Punch | 7s cooldown – Charge up to ram an opponent. During use, you move slower as well as opposing Pokémon. If you take damage or are attacked, you'll attack immediately and displace the opponent Pokémon.
How to build: Definitely go for Psycho Cut. Psycho Cut paired with Pursuit is a combo that will not let opposing Pokémon live.
Level 9 – Absol Unite Move
- Midnight Slash – Unleashes a flurry of slashes, followed by blades of energy that displace opponents.
Midnight Slash should definitely be used in team- rather than solo fights. That and the combination of your teammates' abilities will reel in the win for you.
Absol Guide: Item Build
- Held Items | Go with Scope Lens, Float Stone and Attack Weight.
- Battle Item | Eject Button.
Float Stone makes Absol even more mobile. Scope Lens will let you get critical hits more often, and Attack Weight will just turn you into the monster that everyone thinks you are. Make use of Absol's powers, that's what I keep saying.
Eject Button is the usual choice to escape sticky situations... use it to escape.
Absol Guide: Game Strategy
Don't wait for ganks from your teammates when you play Absol: you will be the one ganking. With the attacks we've listed above, that should be fairly easy for you.
